About the project

Regional Rail Link is a landmark award-winning infrastructure project designed to remove major bottlenecks in Victoria's rail network. By mid-2014, the majority of works requiring major rail closures will be complete. The project will be completed in early 2015. Find answers to frequently asked questions.

New stations in growing suburbs

Two new railway stations are being built along the new alignment. The Wyndham Vale and Tarneit railway stations will open next year, as train services will commence progressively on the new Regional Rail Link line in 2015.
