West Werribee Junction

West Werribee Junction connection of Regional Rail Link to the Geelong line

Scope of works

At West Werribee Junction the Regional Rail Link tracks will cross Bulban Road and freight tracks via a rail over road and rail flyover to join the existing Melbourne-Geelong regional passenger line.

When the project is complete, V/Line trains will travel along the new Regional Rail Link tracks through Wyndham Vale and Tarneit instead of sharing the metropolitan Werribee line.

Passengers travelling between Geelong and Werribee will be able to use the new Wyndham Vale station for connecting bus services.
